Childrens Linen & Bedding
Patersonrose is an International kids linen, bedding and bedroom accessories designer brand who rebranded from Apples & Pears so that they could expand throughout the world. A client for several years their website has morphed into many new layouts taking advantage meof more modern technology as it has beco available as well as having to work with a look that works in the real world as well as online. Recently they opened their first store in Christchurch, New Zealand which also has its own website which is primarily a splash page at present while further traffic is directed to the main website.

Nelson Heights B&B
The client had
a lot of refurbishment before opening their new beautifully appointed
Bed & Breakfast in Timaru, but got in early with Medlicott Design
creating an interim website with email contact, opening dates and
a chance to book well in advance. This also helped with the aging
process in the search engines, and by the time renovations were
finished and Nelson Heights had accommodation available we could
update the look of the website to reflect the class of the bed and
breakfast. Comments from the happy owners included "we hope
our B&B can live up to the website" |

bed and breakfast accommodation close to the heart of Timaru.
Exquisite new facilities complement the historical outlook and the website was built to try and capature and project these features of the luxury accommodation too.

This nicely designed
website could not be found on any search engines. After being given
the run around for months the owner contacted Medlicott Design about
the options. We got it 'found' by Google and many other search engines,
optimised it, wrote keywords and descriptions, added it to the search
engines and after two months improved its Google page rank from
0 to 4. Page views have increased 700% and the client is beginning
to smile again.
Recently it
has been E-commerce enabled by Medlicott Design, allowing people
to safely buy online, while still keeping the original design concepts.As
it links directly with the Bank, the customer does not have to worry
about client credit card details and compromised security issues.

where possible for ease of updating in the future. A Gallery
with a backend database was installed to make it easier for image
manipulation and archiving of tutorials and education articles
related to floral design. Other features include an event calendar
and private content access for some of the 3000 members. |

Design does not display the websites that we have been asked to
optimise in order to improve their number of visitors, returns on
investments, and generally analyse why there don't seem to be enough
visitors. However, the client list ranges from nationwide bus companies,
to furniture businesses, tile centres, sandblasters, scrap metal
exporters, fashion houses and magazine websites, not to mention
some adult websites who compete in the toughest market of all online.
